1. Ticketing and Refunds

  • General: All ticket prices are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD). A registration is only confirmed once full payment is received.

  • Refund Policy: Ticket purchases are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by Papanui High School. If you are no longer able to attend, please contact the school office, as ticket transfers to another alumni member may be permitted at the school's discretion.

  • Donations: Any contributions made to the "Giving Back Fund" are considered final, voluntary donations and are strictly non-refundable.

2. Event Programme and Weather

  • Papanui High School reserves the right to add, withdraw, or substitute event activities, speakers, or tour schedules if necessary.

3. Alcohol and Conduct (Host Responsibility)

  • The Friday event involves the service of alcohol. This specific portion of the weekend is restricted to attendees aged 18 and over. Valid ID may be required.

  • Papanui High School adheres to strict Host Responsibility practices. We reserve the right to refuse service or entry to anyone who is intoxicated or behaving in a manner that disrupts the celebration or violates school values.

4. Photography and Media

  • By attending the 90th Anniversary events, you consent to being photographed or filmed.

  • Papanui High School may use these images and videos for promotional and historical purposes, including on the school website, social media pages, newsletters, and future alumni publications. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform the photographer or a staff member on the day.

5. Privacy Act 2020

  • The contact details you provide will be securely held by Papanui High School. We collect this information to manage your event registration, process payments, and update our alumni database.

  • Under the Privacy Act 2020, you have the right to access and request corrections to any personal information we hold about you.

6. Liability

  • Papanui High School is not liable for any loss, theft, or damage to personal property brought onto the school grounds during the anniversary weekend.


Alcohol & Licensing Notice: 

The Friday 23 October: Social Function 6pm-9pm is a licensed event operating under a Special Liquor Licence. In accordance with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act:

  • Age Verification: This event is strictly for those aged 18 years and over. A valid photo ID (Passport, NZ Driver's License, or HANZ 18+ card) may be requested upon entry and at the bar.
  • Responsible Service: Our staff are committed to the responsible service of alcohol. We reserve the right to refuse entry or service to any person who is intoxicated or behaving in an inappropriate manner.
  • Safe Environment: Please enjoy the evening responsibly and ensure you have a safe plan for transport home.
